Air New Zealand are also offering heavily discounted flights for international travel through until Sunday 6 March. All Tasman and Pacific Island fares to Christchurch are NZD $50 one way plus tax and all long haul flights to Christchurch are NZD $400 one way plus tax.

As New Zealand is in a state of emergency, Government agencies have advised that all non-essential travel to Christchurch should be avoided and both Air New Zealand and Jetstar are offering increased flexibility (and refunds in Jetstar’s case) on all fare types for flights within certain dates.
